Most Popular Aesthetic Services for the Summer

Parson Skin Center is fully open and following all social distancing and safety guidelines outlined by the CDC and local government agencies—so you know what that means. It’s time to treat yourself to a summer of pampering and beauty with the most popular aesthetic treatments. Self-care is critical, particularly in stressful times, and that’s why we’re offering aesthetic treatments that are non-invasive or minimally invasive but promise stunning and fast results. Lockdown restrictions have been eased and now is the time to consider putting yourself first, and you can trust Parson Skin Center to take care of all your beauty needs. Here are a few “must-haves” for the summer:

Microneedling.

Microneedling is a popular add-on for just about any treatment, but it’s also a great routine maintenance procedure by itself. Clients love microneedling because it relies 100% on the natural healing power of the body to yield results. It requires a medical-grade handheld tool with hundreds of tiny needles that create micro-injuries in the skin. It’s not painful and the needles are so small that they do not create open wounds. However, the body is aware of these “injuries” and rushes blood to the site while also kickstarting collagen production. The results of microneedling aren’t immediate since the body needs a couple of weeks to “heal” and nourish the treated area. What you’ll experience is skin that becomes smoother, softer, and clearer in the days and weeks following every treatment. Microneedling can help with scarring, hyperpigmentation, and skin laxity and dullness.

Botox.

Botox is the gold standard of neuromodulars for good reason—it really works, and in just a few days! If you’ve never tried Botox before, now is the time to see what everyone is raving about. And if you’ve been missing your Botox treatments? We’ve got you covered. Botox works by temporarily freezing certain muscles in order to prevent the formation of unwanted lines. It takes about 3 – 5 days for the full results of Botox to show, and results last up to six months on average. Some of the most popular treatment sites for Botox include the forehead, between the eyebrows, and around the eyes. There’s no downtime, although you will want to avoid working out (sweating) or laying down for a few hours after your treatment. Botox is also a popular off-label product for the prevention migraines and stopping excessive sweating.

Dermal fillers.

There’s so much more to dermal fillers than getting fuller lips (although that’s still a popular reason to fall in love with this treatment!). Dermal fillers restore lost volume in the face and even on top of the hands, which naturally happens with age. In addition to placing dermal fillers in the lips, you can also inject them in just about any part of the face where you’d like more volume including beneath the eyes (the eye trough) and the cheeks. Most dermal fillers are made of hyaluronic acid (HA), which already occurs naturally in the body. These dermal fillers are temporary and last about six months on average (though this varies based on the type of dermal filler used, the amount, and the skill of the injector). There are also dermal fillers that stimulate natural collagen growth at the treated site. They don’t offer immediate results like HA fillers, but they do last longer—up to two years in some cases.

Feminine rejuvenation.

What if you could reduce or stop urinary incontinence while increasing natural lubrication and enhancing your intimate moments? Feminine rejuvenation makes this possible by treating some of the most delicate skin women have—their vaginal skin. Feminine rejuvenation can be beneficial to any adult woman, but particularly those who are post-partum or experiencing peri-menopause or menopause. The procedure is fast, surprisingly non-invasive, and an absolute must if you really want to make this the best summer ever.

Emsculpt.

Emsculpt is the first technology that simultaneously creates muscle gains and toning while spot-reducing fat. It works by forcing targeted muscles into 20,000 supramaximal contractions in 30 minutes. You can use Emsculpt on the glutes, legs, abs, or upper arms (or a combination of all!). It’s just like performing 20,000 reps of strength training exercises, but without breaking a sweat or putting much effort on your part. Results can be seen within a few weeks of treatment.
