Microneedling with PRP

Microneedling Skin Treatments

Microneedling, also known as collagen induction therapy or vampire facial, uses a specialized treatment for wrinkle reduction, collagen stimulation, and treatment for acne scars.

Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that uses tiny needles to create multiple microscopic injuries in the epidermis over a 60-minute treatment session. The injuries trigger the production of collagen and elastin, the building blocks of smoother, healthier looking skin. Healthy skin cells then work to rejuvenate skin from inside out, resulting in a more evenly toned, tighter and radiant skin.

Microneedling is ideal for treatment of fine lines, acne scars, stretch marks, hyperpigmentation, as well as improving the skin’s overall appearance giving it a healthy-looking glow! Patients usually require multiple treatments for optimal results.

Microneedling with PRP: Collagen Induction Therapy

Adding PRP to Microneedling Treatment

Microneedling with PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) is the same collagen induction therapy but with added benefit by using your own blood’s growth factors stimulate new cell and collagen growth. This procedure is growing and has been successful when used to refresh skin as well as for hair restoration. By combining microneedling with PRP, you are giving yourself the most optimal results for smooth, tight and glowing skin; as well as new hair growth for thinning or balding spots.

Platelet Rich Plasma Therapy for Hair Loss

PRP, or Platelet Rich Plasma, therapy is one of the latest treatments to help those who are suffering from unwanted hair loss. The best part about it is it requires little to no downtime and is providing amazing results.

How PRP for Hair Restoration Works

Step 1: A small amount of blood is drawn from your arm, right there in our office.

Step 2: The blood that is removed is spun in a centrifuge for about 10 minutes which separates the PRP from the rest of the blood.

Step 3: The highly concentrated platelet-rich plasma (PRP) that we also call, “liquid gold” is then injected into the scalp in small injections.

Step 4: Since there is no downtime with this treatment, patients can continue with their normal activity. Most patients do require multiple treatments to see optimal results, though some have seen great results in one treatment. *Please note results may vary.

Microdermabrasion Skin Treatments

Microdermabrasion is a noninvasive, skin resurfacing treatment that gently exfoliates the skin, removing the top layer of dead skin cells. This process stimulates collagen growth to reveal skin that looks and feels healthier. Microdermabrasion is ideal to correct sun damage, light scarring, fine lines, blemishes, dull skin, and discoloration.

This type of microdermabrasion works with a diamond-tipped hand piece that gently abrades and exfoliates dead skin cells. The process takes 20-30 minutes and results can be seen and felt after the first treatment.
