This 61 year old patient was unfortunately diagnosed with breast cancer. After she underwent her first procedure of a left full mastectomy, she was referred to board certified plastic surgeon, Dr. Shaun Parson. During her in depth and educational consultation, she elected to undergo a left breast: TRAM procedure to create a new breast on her left side. This allowed her to feel more comfortable in a bra without having to wear a prothesis to create symmetry.
